The RoadRunners CC is a recreation of the the original Road Runners Car Club of Farmington NM which was founded in 1957 and lasted until the early 1970’s. The late Don Connolly was an original member and gave the new club permission to recreate the Road Runners on the condition that we maintain the traditional aspect of the club that he so fondly remembered. We continue to strive to maintain that promise today.

As a club we are very close. We travel together, we park together, we leave together. We attend national & regional events like the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, Ca. and the Rat Fink Reunion in Manti, Ut. to just mention a couple. And of course we can always be found at local car shows and swap meets.

Brotherhood and loyalty are paramount to being a member and sustaining that membership. Club jackets, drag plates, a positive attitude, and being drama & drug free is a must.

We have also made important changes to our by laws in two areas. The first being expanded years of the cars accepted into the club. Previously it was pre’65. Now, we are pre’73 kustoms, hot rods, & street rods (with still others accepted on a case by case basis). The second change is a new membership level designed for musicians, artist, fabricators, and other like minded people who contribute so much to our rod kulture but who may not have a ride. This new membership level makes it possible for our club to have these awesome people be apart of the RoadRunners CC. We strongly believe that music, art and enthusiasts are a vital part of who we are.
